Season 8 Episode 4
Stay With It and Don’t Give Up
““It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.” – Albert Einstein
Our success and often even our survival have less to do with our talents and abilities than they have to do with our determination and persistence.
Einstein is best remembered for his theory of general relativity. It took him ten years to fully develop. During that time the world went through war, and he went through divorce. Early in his academic career, his instructors didn’t think he’d amount to much. He kept going.
Life happens. Some of our problems are really hard to solve. And while we are working on those problems, we often have other problems that pop up too.
In the faces of these realities we have two choices. We can either quit and accept things as they are, or we can stick with it and keep going until we find a way or make a way.
