Description
Liz Kleinrock is an Anti-Bias Educator and the founder of Teach and Transform.  She believes that an inclusive, equitable public education is the first step towards a solution to narrowing the opportunity gap in our country.  Liz believes that teaching our youth with a social justice focus and an anti-bias lens is not only possible, but imperative towards dismantling systemic racism and institutional discrimination.  She is also a published author with Teaching Tolerance, and her work has gained national recognition through a documentary produced by Fluid Film, and media outlets such as CNN, The Washington Post, NPR, and The Huffington Post. Most recently, Liz is proud to share her 2019 TED Talk from "Education Everywhere" on building foundations of equity with young learners, and is working on her first book. Liz shares her journey to confidence and how she loves to uplift and elevate others doing what she does.  She also shares tips that can help you in your own journey to self confidence.
