#22 -The Culture Shock of Society & How to Deal With It.

Season 1 Episode 22 Published 2 years ago
Description

Transitioning out of the military is not a smooth process but rather a hard reset.

Veterans experience a culture shock when they leave the military and enter civilian society.

They lose their sense of purpose, their best friends, their culture, and their identity.

This loss can lead to a grieving process and feelings of being lost. However, it is important for veterans to take ownership of their lives and make necessary changes to find joy and success in their post-military lives.

They should not chase the past but instead create a new future for themselves.

This is the VetRise Podcast w/ Juan Perez, hosted by Marine Corps Scout Sniper Veteran, founder, owner, public speaker, and content creator Juan Perez.

On this podcast, our goal is to make success after service accessible to every veteran.

You'll learn about the many failures and lessons Juan has learned on his path from service to society.

Thank you for your time.
