Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the Anthony Gargano Show. Last night, the Sixers faced off against the New York Knicks in the inaugural game of the NBA Cup. Embiid made his much-anticipated 2024 season debut after recovering from a knee injury and serving a suspension following an incident with a media member. Despite standout performances from Paul George and Jared McCain, the Sixers couldn't secure a win against the Knicks. With this loss, the Sixers' record drops to 2-8 for the season, marking an unfortunate start to the NBA Cup.
