Scarred lungs from smoke inhalation didn’t stop Jason Czora, 46, a firefighter with 21 years of service in Buffalo, NY, from heaving his way across hilly terrain for more than 1,600 miles on an epic bicycle ride. He embarked Aug. 17 from the Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial in Colorado Springs, Colo., to pedal back home and raise $10,000 for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and its mission to help firefighters' and military families.
