They explore Walt Disney’s fascination with transportation, the PeopleMover’s origins as real-world transit technology, and the layered motion that once defined the “world on the move.” Sam also explains why Tomorrowland is so difficult to keep futuristic, how its architecture tries to avoid becoming dated, and what remains of Walt’s enormous Progress City model.
