Today's podcast guest is former US National Swimmer and Masters International Hall of Fame Inductee - Clay Britt.

We chatted about Clay's time swimming NCAA's at the University of Texas and the joy and excitement of being part of such a top notch team. We spoke about how he got started in masters swimming in 1988 and why his focus has changed from competition in the early days to now using swimming as a fitness, mental health and stress release avenue.

It was interesting to find out about Clay's training, sometimes with a squad, but more often than not by himself.  How does he motivate himself?  By using the adage "Success comes through suffering"  and having a goal which he works towards. Oh ...... and by checking in with his age old "test set" to compare his progress with.

Clay has been a masters swimmer for 33 years, which gives him a wonderful perspective about why we follow the black line and what it means to so many of us. You will not want to miss this podcast!
