While Friday will feature plenty of sunshine, drier air and wind gusts up to 30 mph will pose a greater fire danger.

With no significant rainfall since September 29, Lee says our area is in dire need of precipitation. And he says we could get some chances over the next seven days, with opportunities for heavier rain about a week away.
