What should we and our governments actually learn from 2020? Seven things, and clapping is not one of them.

Key workers kept whole countries going and they need more than a clap on a Thursday. You cannot be ambiguous with rules, because a rule that says do not use public transport unless you need to use public transport is not a rule. Journalism went commercial, and soft questions buy access. The stock market is not the country. And collectively, handed months of time we had never had, most of us wasted it. Including me.
