Susan Smith will appear in front of the South Carolina Parole Board on November 20 for the first time. Smith drowned her two young sons, Michael, 3, and 14-month-old Alex, in a lake in 1994 and claimed for nine days that she'd been car jacked by a black man. The parole board has received hundreds of letters from members of the public about Smith's potential release.
