B.G. Burkett served in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969, earning the Bronze Star Medal. For the past decade, the now military researcher has investigated hundreds of cases where people have falsely claimed to have been awarded various military honors, including the nation's highest military award, the Medal of Honor.
