לִמּוּד הַתּוֹרָה בְּכָל יוֹם וָיוֹם

Studying Torah every day

נוֹגֵעַ בִּנְפָשׁוֹת מַמָּשׁ

critically affects our very lives:

לֹא לְבָד בְּנֶפֶשׁ הַלּוֹמֵד

not only the soul of the person studying,

כִּי אִם גַּם בְּנַפְשׁוֹת בְּנֵי בֵּיתוֹ

but the souls of his household as well,

שֶׁאָז אֲוִיר הַבַּיִת

for then the atmosphere in the home

הוּא אֲוִיר תּוֹרָה וְיִרְאַת שָׁמַיִם

is one of Torah and the fear of G‑d.
