ReviyalyzeMD’s Skin specialist Meredith, NP Farideh, and Medical Aesthetician join Dr. Durst in the studio to discuss Fotona 4D for the vagina. The ladies return from a conference in Dallas with Fotona and are sharing the new treatment plan they learned!
It can be paired with Votiva or O-shot. It is robotic and more uniform. Dr. Durst used to think of Fotona for the vagina for lightening the outside and Votiva for tightening. The Fotona4D is now the major tightening of the vagina along with lightening! It is easier and better for the laser technicians and better for the patient in the same amount of time.
Step 1 tightens on the inside. Step 2 is heat and hair removal. Step 3 is rejuvenation and stimulation along with clit stimulation. Step 4 is the tightening step with AMAZING results! The last step is resurfacing along with lightening and brightening much like the face. Numbing is not necessary unless needed for the last step.
There is not much downtime after this treatment. The next 24 hours are not recommended for sexual intercourse with the resurfacing step. The treatment itself is not uncomfortable.
It is not internal so it will not work on tightening the vaginal canal. If this is an issue for you, the votiva is recommended to pair with The Fotona4D to cover all of the bases.
Because it is cumulative, 3 treatments in a series are what Dr. Durst recommends for optimal results.
