Episode 388 Published 1 year, 6 months ago
Description

It is the last day of SBC Summit Latinoamerica and Fernando Noodt, Senior Journalist for SBC Noticias, is once again your host. This time he is joined by SBC Noticias Brasil’s Business Journalists Ana Maria Menezes and Elisa Marcante who recap the biggest talking points from their time at the summit.

One of the key themes throughout the conference has been responsible advertising and the trio discuss some of the conversations regarding how operators in Brazil can protect vulnerable and underage players through responsible publicity, as well as the importance of choosing the correct influencers and brand ambassadors.

Later on in the episode, the focus shifts to Guanajuato in Mexico where a legislator presented a proposal to set specific taxes on the expenditure and prizes received by people who participate in bets, contests and raffles.

Finally, Fernando checks into Chile where the Superintendence of Gaming Casinos (SCJ) ended the tenders for operating permits for the Castro and Coyhaique halls without assigning a winner.
