In this episode, we jam with the co-owners of Fernwood Barbershop. I met Carlo and Patrick when they worked at Andre’s barbershop in Lakeview. Prior to recording, I just learned Dang was a paramedic and made a pivot in his own life. They’ve recently hit their 1 year milestone at Fernwood and it was the perfect time to reflect. We go into their origin stories, barber college, and how they’re striving to cultivate a sense of family within the shop. They’re keen on the future while respecting the roots they came from.
