It is June 2019. There is a rape trial being held at Hove Crown Court. A rape having taken place in the January of that year by a plastic gangster on a woman he had been giving alcohol to all night as they wandered around Brighton City Centre. When the case came to court it seems that the Brighton Police Safeguarding team were a little heavy handed in their approach to those attending the case in the public gallery. It seems that the police and the court system are reacting to the emergence of Social Media by bullying the general public and making people uncomfortable when watching the law in action.
