In this episode I interviewed Melinda Atkins is a yoga teacher, yoga therapist, educator and the founder and director of AUM hOMe Shala in Coconut Grove, Florida. We spoke about her decision to establish her yoga center as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in order to acquire grants and funding which in turn provides free yoga therapy programming for people of all ages in their community who are dealing with a wide range of chronic diseases and disabilities.
