Was Jesse Dreyfuse Wrongfully Convicted?

Episode 258 Published 1 year, 6 months ago
Description
A Huntington, WV Facebook group, Cabell Co. Awareness, along with other online sources have advocated for the release of Edward Jesse Dreyfuse - a West Virginia man serving a life sentence in prison for the murder of Otis Clay in 2012.

Labeled by the local newspaper as "the ball bat killer", Jesse was alleged to have beaten Clay in the head with a baseball bat. Reports reveal that Clay was actually taken to surgery at a Huntington hospital for a broken femur. In 2023, an expert witness testified that improper management of his pacemaker while in hospital care was the actual cause of Clay's death.

Melissa Ann, a podcast host and advocate for the wrongly imprisoned, sheds some insight into this case that could have far reaching consequences if Jesse Dreyfuse is indeed innocent.
