Published 10 years, 5 months ago
Description
On the show, the Pop Shop team chat about the music icon, who takes over the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart at Nos. 1 and 2 in the wake of his death on April 21. Keith and Katie also discuss some of the memorable tributes that followed his passing (including Bruce Springsteen’s rendition of “Purple Rain”), how Katie recently watched "Purple Rain" for the first time, some of Keith’s favorite Prince albums, and how media outlets are raiding their vaults for old Prince footage (like that incredible MTV Video Music Awards performance of “Gett Off” from 1991).
