Dan + Shay: Headliner Interview
Episode 163
Published 9 years, 7 months ago
Description
You could call Dan + Shay a "country duo," but that hardly describes the swath of genres comprising their musical DNA. They met at a Nashville house party covering Omarion's "O," they're bridging into Christian music with their latest single (soundtracking the 2017 film "The Shack"), and they've spent a good deal of their lives loving Warped Tour pop-punk and hardcore. Listen to them chat with host Chris Payne about all this, along with the voice memo recoding off Dan's phone of Shay singing him Omarion on that fateful night.
