We talk about getting through tough times and his half-wish that his restaurant crises would include normal disasters like a drug habit or dumb infidelity. He speaks about the pandemic as a ship he fears is steaming rudderless towards him...then about eight hours after we speak, New Zealand locks back down. What a world.
