Bagelshop in Donelson has launched “New Year, All Year” as a way to help us learn more about all the different cultures that call Nashville home. On Thursday, Hindus are celebrating Diwali, the annual festival of lights, and acclaimed chef Vivek Surti of Tailor has created a Dabeli bagel sandwich for the occasion. He joins City Cast Nashville food and travel contributor Margaret Littman for a conversation with host Marie Cecile Anderson to explain how a simple nosh can bring us all together.
