Anna is the founder and CEO of Basepaws, a provider of low-cost pet genomic products and services. After Anna’s own personal 23andMe genetic testing revealed some unsettling truths about her greater likelihood for developing a serious disease, she was inspired to learn more and ended up studying at Singularity University. . Today, Basepaws is the first at-home cat genetics test and has had great success over the years. In 2019 alone, Basepaws exhibited at CES, won the Purina Innovation Prize, earned coverage in Fortune, and after a winning pitch on Shark Tank was invited to attend Mr. Wonderful’s Founder Summit.
