Our Lord Jesus Christ teaches us today in the gospel of the mass important and interesting imageries for us to understand a little more about His Kingdom. He compares His Kingdom with the tiny mustard seed and minute yeast. But such small realities grow to be much bigger and beneficial for the others. The mustard seed grows into something much bigger whose branches could be used by the birds to rest on or perch on. The yeast grows the dough and prepares it to be baked to feed us. The Church of God must be seen always as beginning small, being relatively small, and is for the little children.
