This Full Moon comes with a warning. Hot on the heels of the solar eclipse just two weeks ago, we now witness the activation of an exceedingly rare Grand Cross astrological event involving Mars and Pluto in opposition signaling the beginning of a new cycle that will be messy, difficult, and challenging for those unaware and asleep.

Pisces, the sign of dissolution and emergence, symbolizes the proverbial, “one door closes, another opens” fable about the path of transition which involves transmutation, transformation, and finally transcendence. Pisces and Mars energies open the doors of perception, ushering us to step on the evolutionary ladder knowing there’ll be no turning back. The Sun in Virgo, and Mercury’s presence implore us to be discerning at this time, to open our critical minds, to engage with reality in a rational, systematic way, as opposed to shying away from it by burying our heads in the sand. Chiron reminds us that we, humanity, and you individually, have not been forsaken as the battle over consciousness rages, rather that you are seen, loved, and known by Source.

Pluto takes about 250 years to orbit the Sun which means the last time she was in this location was 1776 when three world shaping events occurred – the signing of the U.S. Constitution, the publication of the Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith, and the creation of the Bavarian Illuminati party by German philosopher Adam Weishaupt. All three of these acorns have grown to become the mighty oak tree pillars and cognitive map of the modern world; (1) the hegemonic power of the United States (2) the “invisible hand” of liberal economics and capital markets that has generated the greatest wealth divide and inequality the world has seen in modern times, and (3) the formation of the Order, the so-called enlightened ruling elite who’s think tanks, CharitableFoundations, and lobby groups drive humanity’s political and social paradigms from the shadows. Unelected individuals pulling the strings.

When Mars and Pluto meet, like they do at this lunation, it spells trouble for the three structures  described above. In simple terms, the basis of what we think and perceive are set to crumble. Yet, this won’t happen overnight, in fact, it’s likely to take a decade or so. However, like Alice inWonderland’s interaction with the cheshire cat, we, humanity, are being asked to confront our collective and suppressed fears and feelings about power, who wields it, how did they get it, and what does it mean for us, and them, as it shifts going forward? Are we being served by the power structures or are we being dominated by them?
