Have Courage
Description
“Acting is really about having the courage to fail in front of others.” – Adam Driver
If you think you can’t, you won’t.
Have confidence in yourself! Know that you can and you will so often people think the worst and wonder why the worst happens. You attract what you feel and think.
If you think about the consequences of how you’ll be perceived, you’re already negatively effecting your work.
If the opinions of others have a bearing on what you’re doing, you’re screwed. Focus on what you’re doing while you’re doing it. When you focus on what you’re doing while you’re doing it, you get into flow state. When you’re in flow, you feel it. It’s instinctual you just make things happen. You don’t have time to think about what it looks like, how it feels, what other people think, etc. You just do things.
Acting is going out there. Being prepared. And giving it a try. If it works, great! If it doesn’t, learn from that and move forward. Dwelling on what didn’t work for the sake of dwelling on it is only going to hurt you. Reflecting on what didn’t work for the sake of improvement will always help you as long as your aim is to move forward.
