Yes, a full week about eCommerce. We'll talk about what it is, what it means, and then my tips on where to start and the most important parts of including eCommerce in your mix as a Cosplayer.
Yes, Patreon and Ko-fi count as eCommerce. People donate and you provide them options for those donations or continue to produce content in other spaces as a result.
Today we're talking about your website and why it is important to have:
o You own it - unlike social media, which you do not
o It keeps everything in one space - so...organization
o You can customize it and scale it
o It’s credible - we're used to DMing the transaction and using PayPal - websites offer more for the customer and the fan on how to pay and how to stay safe - it keeps everyone accountable
o Kajabi, squrespace, shopify are amazing for selling services and merchandise
You do not have to pay tons of money for one (and you do not need one) but I do encourage you to start here if eCommerce is something that you want to get into as a Cosplayer.
