Gallbladder stones, often known as gallstones, are solid deposits inside the gallbladder, a tiny organ containing bile. They can range in size from microscopic grains to enormous stones and can be made of cholesterol, bilirubin, or a combination of the two. Symptoms may include severe upper abdominal pain, nausea, and digestive problems, especially after fatty meals.
