“Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.” I. Don't start your parenting here in v21, but by believing the Gospel and trusting Jesus. II. Don't start your parenting in v20 concerning obedience, but in vv12-17 with love. III. Do parent in light of v20 "obedience pleases the Lord." Does it please parents? IV. The importance of Father's to God. V. Ways we might exasperate our children to the point of losing heart.
