There’s not a lot of competitive races on your November D.C. ballot, but there’s a very interesting referendum that could go either way: Initiative 83, which would bring ranked choice voting to the District, and open up our blue city’s primaries to independent voters. Brian Strege is one of the organizers of the initiative, and Dierdre Brown has been campaigning against it. They’re here to tell us why we should vote their way.
