Can pass rush go from 'antiquated' to modern? | Who would be next man up at safety?

Published 1 year, 5 months ago
Description

Reading between the lines, it sure sounds like changes are on the way for Ohio State's defense following its disappointing performance at Oregon. Not only did head coach Ryan Day say on Tuesday that he has been more involved with the defense, but he agreed with Nick Saban who referred to the Buckeyes' pass rush as "antiquated."

Can OSU find more of a modern pass rush? Or anything that is markedly more effective than what they've been producing?

Also, who would be the next man up at safety if Lathan Ransom has to miss some time?

The three-man backfield of Steve Helwagen, Patrick Murphy and Dave Biddle discuss that and much more on the Wednesday 5ish.
