In this self-centered world, we often tend to view ourselves on the opposite spectrum of things when they don’t happen according to plan. We often have these sayings: “if I was in such a situation, I would have done such and such a thing” forgetting we too are fallen and sinful beings. In this passage in Mark 14:12 - 31, we see the most unlikely persons to falter, the disciples, whom in the end, ended up deserting Him in His persecution. However, there is a hope in the midst of our frailty, which Pastor John Musyimi seeks to enlighten us with in this sermon that, though His followers will fail Him, Jesus will not fail His followers!
