In the late 17th century, the small Puritan settlement of Salem Village was gripped by fear and paranoia as accusations of witchcraft spiraled out of control. What began as a few strange behaviors quickly ignited a community-wide hysteria, leading to the wrongful persecution of innocent people and the execution of over twenty individuals, all in the name of fear and superstition.
