One year ago the Nevada Department of Wildlife rolled out a brand-new licensing system. This came at the same time as our License Simplification program, when we streamlined the process of purchasing a license by eliminating stamps and offering modern, mobile-friendly methods to purchase, possess, and present licenses. The goal was to make it easier than ever for outdoor enthusiasts to get into the field! In this week’s Nevada Wild, NDOW’s Ashley Sanchez and Aaron Keller sit down with Data and Technology Division Administrator Chet VanDellen to look back on the first year of changes, the new system’s success and what hunters, anglers, trappers, and boat owners can expect in 2019.
