Niraj Naik, The Renegade Pharmacist, is on a mission to improve health and well-being on a global scale. He posits an interesting thought experiment – what if the billions of coca-colas and cigarettes consumed a day were replaced with the habit of breathwork? Naik believes it would be revolutionary.

A certified pharmacist turned holistic health and breathwork expert, Naik’s story is like so many in the health and wellness space. Disillusioned with his observations that all the prescription drugs he was dispensing as a pharmacist were making no difference (if not making them worse) on his patients health and then having to heal himself from one of those “incurable” conditions (ulcerative colitis), Naik broke away from traditional medicine and immersed himself in the world of alternatives.  Not only did this cure him of his colitis, it changed his life forever.

Naik then under his Renegade Pharmacist moniker began to educate the public about brainwave entrainment, Ayurveda, natural supplements and medicines and breathwork. It was during this phase he authorized what would become one of the most viral infographics of all time – What Happens To Your Body One Hour After You Drink a Can of Coke.

He then created his own system of breathwork, SOMA Breath, which is taught across the world by over 1,000 instructors. Naik is also a professional musician, serial entrepreneur and one of the most sought after spiritual ceremony facilitators.
