Join me in The Red Treehouse as I read you a classic horror short story--The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving. First published in 1820, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, by Washington Irving, is an absolute classic horror short story. A timeless story with memorable characters, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow introduced the world to a few of the most famous characters in literature—Ichabod Crane, Katrina Van Tassel, Brom Bones, and of course—The Headless Horseman.
I’ll read this story in two parts.
So, sit back, pull up the covers, and pay close attention as I read The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
