Description
The Twins and Royals duked it out for fourth place in the AL Central, and at the season midpoint Minnesota unexpectedly sits in last after losing two of three in Kansas City. David and Dan rehash the ups -- Kenta Maeda's start, Trevor Larnach's bat -- and the downs, namely the poor starting pitching performances in Game 1 and 2. David sees just two paths forward for this franchise with no middle ground. Dan can't envision a future where Byron Buxton isn't in the Twins' outfield, though he can very much see one without Max Kepler. Can Miguel Sano be fixed? Should Josh Donaldson be traded for the right deal? Will Nelson Cruz still be a Twins player when he shows up for the All-Star Game? David and Dan discuss that and more.
