Description
In today's episode of the Any Given Runday Podcast, Eric and Seán talk to Jill Leonard, a Yoga Instructor who has been practising Yoga for over 15 years, as well as someone who has run a Dublin Marathon, making her more than qualified to talk about the relationship between Yoga and Running.
In this episode Jill talks about:
- Her background and how she got into Yoga
- The different types of Yoga training, moving from Ashtanga to Vinyasa
- How a debilitating back injury lead to her putting on her running shoes and building herself up to her first ever marathon
- Jill's advice for people doing Yoga and Running, how they complement each other and how to incorporate both into your running plan.
We are delighted to announce that, as part of the 6 week challenge, you will get the opportunity to do Jill's Yoga sessions as well as welcome Jill to the Any Given Training Day Team.
Jill will be running online Yoga sessions, through the Any Given Training Day App, with the first course starting in mid-July.
