On October 13, 2024, Pastor Ryan Kimmel preached from 2 Chronicles 15:1-7, focusing on the theme of courage through faith as part of the “Take Courage” sermon series. Pastor Ryan emphasized that while the world may drift away from God, we are called to stay steadfast and courageous in Him. Drawing from the story of King Asa, he highlighted how Asa sought God amidst challenges, cleansed the land of idolatry, and led Judah to victory through trust in God. Pastor Ryan also connected this message to the church’s ongoing Proclaim campaign, urging congregants to prayerfully consider their involvement in God’s work. He challenged everyone to take a stand spiritually, financially, and in daily obedience, reminding them that true courage requires contrast from the world. As the church prepares for the final commitment on October 27, Pastor Ryan called the congregation to align their hearts with God’s mission through prayer and action.
