SAMUEL DIED IN OLD AGE STILL BELOVED BY THE PEOPLE WHILE OTHERS WHO ARE IN POWER DIE UNDESIRED LIKE JEHORAM. WHAT WILL BE YOUR LEGACY

1 Samuel 25:1

And Samuel died; and all the Israelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah.

2 Chronicles 21:20

Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings.

SAMUEL WAS REMEMBERED FOR TRUE PROPHECY!

1 Chronicles 11:3

Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by Samuel.

1 Samuel 3:19

And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.

1 Samuel 9:6

And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way that we should go.

SAMUEL GAVE OFFERINGS TO THE BUILDING OF THE TEMPLE WHICH WAS BUILT WAY AFTER HIS DEATH. CHURCH LEADERS ARE NOT EXEMPTED FROM RETURNING TITHES AND OFFERINGS,THEY ARE TO BE EXAMPLES IN EVERYTHING

John‬ ‭13‬:‭15‬ ‭

“For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.”

1 Chronicles 26:24-28

And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures…. And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.

Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭35‬ ‭

“I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”

REJECTED AND DESPISED BY MAN BUT REMEMBERED AND HONORED BY GOD.

John‬ ‭5‬:‭44‬ ‭

“How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?”

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭8‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭

“But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord. And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.”

Psalm 99:6

Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

Jeremiah 15:1

Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

SAMUEL MADE IT TO THE HEROS CHAPTER IN THE BIBLE‼️

Hebrews 11:32-33

And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions

Revelation 14:13

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
