Description
You might have Heard Tell that Critical Race Theory has been among the most debated issues in culture and politics lately. While the answer to the questions raised by the controversy are varied, what is apparent is not only the news media but the public can't even seem to agree on what CRT is, much less agree what to do about it. So we turn to our friends at The Narratives Project, who do great work in parsing out how issues are being discussed and who recently released a deep dive into CRT. Titled "Defining Differences: How five major news publications defined and operationalized Critical Race Theory" it gives great insight along with a comparing and contrasting of how different news media outlets handled CRT. Sofia Sedergren-Book joins us as one of the primary authors of the report to help us turn down the noise on CRT, one of the loudest issues of our, and get to the information we need to decide for ourselves.
