We have a Young Voices Two for Tuesday with not one but two great guests. Travis NIx, who is a student at Georgetown Law, returns to give us the on-the-ground, first person perspective on what is going on there in the wake of the Ilya Shapiro comments that saw him apologize, but also played on administrative leave, for how he referred to black judges that might be nominated to the Supreme Court. Also, Garion Frankel joins us to talk about how libraries have become ground zero in the culture wars, and how everything from drag queen story time to pornography has made for national narratives but local messes. Garion gets into why, exactly, the partnership between parent, educator, and/or librarian has broken down, and why it is important to correct that in an information starved society.
