Guest Dennis Sanders is back on Heard Tell, this time talking about unions, labor, and how things have changed in the world of organized labor. Dennis draws on being the son of autoworkers and growing up in Flint, Michigan to talk frankly about the good side of unions, their limitations, and how unions should be adapting to the modern world and economy to help workers instead of hindering them. Dennis also has a wonderful in-depth series of writing on the rise and fall of Sears and Kmart, and explains how the destruction of the once dominant retailer wasn't just market forces or changing times, but a study in predatory leadership.
