Our guest is film critic, Ordinary Times contributor, and Heard Tell regular Luis Mendez of The Mendez Movie Report who checks in to see how his 2023 Oscar nomination predicitions held up (really well), the surprises and snubs for this years Academy Awards, what the nominations mean for who might win, and conversation about how new technology like that being used in Avatar might mean changing some definitions on how we view and award filmmaking.
