2 Corinthians 7:2

Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man. 

MANY WHO STRUGGLE FOR POWER DO SO FOR PERSONAL GAINS NOT TO BLESS THE COMMUNITY

Micah‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭

“Now hear this, You heads of the house of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel, Who abhor justice And pervert all equity, Who build up Zion with bloodshed And Jerusalem with iniquity: Her heads judge for a bribe, Her priests teach for pay, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the Lord, and say, “Is not the Lord among us? No harm can come upon us.””

THE PROPHET, PRIEST AND JUDGE SAMUEL COULD NOT BE BOUGHT OR SOLD NOR BRIBED. LEADERS OF MORAL STAMINA LIKE SAMUEL ARE NEEDED IN THE CHURCH AND CIVIL AUTHORITIES‼️

1 Samuel 12:1-5

And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you. 2And now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day. 3Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you. 4And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man's hand. 5And he said unto them, The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that ye have not found ought in my hand. And they answered, He is witness.

The greatest want of the world is the want of men—men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall. – {Education p.57.3}

LEADERS WHO FEAR GOD ARE WILLING TO LET GO EVEN OF THEIR RIGHTS IN ORDER TO BE A BLESSING TO THE CHURCH AND THE NATION

Nehemiah‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Moreover, from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year until the thirty-second year of King Artaxerxes, twelve years, neither I nor my brothers ate the governor’s provisions. But the former governors who were before me laid burdens on the people, and took from them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver. Yes, even their servants bore rule over the people, but I did not do so, because of the fear of God.”

Mark 8:36

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

THOSE THAT SHALL ENTER HEAVEN WILL BE PEOPLE WHO SHAKE THEIR HANDS FROM RECEIVING AND GIVING BRIBES

Isaiah‬ ‭33‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭ESV‬

“The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling has seized the godless: “Who among us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who among us can dwell with everlasting burnings?” He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil,”

Psalm 24:3-5

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
