The Bedford County Sheriff's Office in Tennessee has arrested 38-year-old Justin Pickle in connection with the death of 16-year-old Maria Lucas Gaspar. Pickle has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and tampering with evidence. Maria was reported missing on June 30th, 2024, after last being seen the day before. Her remains were found nine days later, and authorities are investigating the events leading up to her death. Pickle has a lengthy criminal record and is currently behind bars.
