Morning Mantra: "The more we give, the more we receive.
With all the devasting storms on the east coast and fires in the west, now more than ever it is time to give of ourselves. Starting today, let's all do more random acts of kindness. Give what you can, where you are, with what you have.
A Random Acts of Kindness or RAK is a small act of kindness that you grant to someone else – for absolutely no reason whatsoever, without expecting anything in return.
The easiest way to help the situation is to donate money. I have committed to a monthly donation. I have found that this helps the organizations budget because they can count on it each month. It can be as little as $5.00 to make an impact.
If you can't afford to donate then give of your time- helping collect, sort, or load. If you are unable to do that, share the links to organizations that are.
Resist the urge to spread negative stories- they help no one.
Pray, meditate and lift up those affected by the devastation.
When we throw a little extra kindness out to the world – we all find greater happiness starting to flood back into our own lives.
