BONUS: Colonial Parkway Murders First Solve: Our Reaction

Season 5 Episode 412 Published 1 year, 3 months ago
Description
"Mind Over Murder" co-hosts Bill Thomas and Kristin Dilley offer our reaction to the first solve announced in the Colonial Parkway Murders. On Monday, January 8, 2024, Virginia State Police, Hampton Police Department and the FBI announced that a deceased waterman, Alan Wade Wilmer, Senior of Lancaster County, Virginia had been linked via DNA hit to the 1987 murder of Robin Edwards and David Knobling (one of the Colonial Parkway Murders) in Isle of Wight County and the 1989 murder of Teresa Lynn Howell in Hampton, Virginia. We discuss the exciting news, our support for the three families who received the good news, critique the press conference itself, and lay out our support for next steps in the FBI and Virginia State Police investigation of the Colonial Parkway Murders. This bonus episode originally ran on January 11, 2024.
