DNA from Hair Connects Billy Jack Lincks to Morgan Nick’s 1995 Disappearance

Published 1 year, 6 months ago
Description
New DNA evidence has linked Billy Jack Lincks to the 1995 disappearance of six-year-old Morgan Nick. Lincks, who died in prison in 2000, was a person of interest in the case after being convicted of sexual indecency with a child in 1995. The police found blonde hair in Lincks’ truck that matched the DNA of Morgan or a close relative, and other evidence, including blue-green fiber from a Girl Scout shirt similar to the one Morgan was wearing when she disappeared, has also been linked to the truck. The Alma Police Department is asking for the public’s help in learning more about Lincks and his life in hopes of solving the decades-old cold case.
