Call it a day:
means to stop working or stop doing something, especially when you’ve done enough or are ready to rest.
Examples:
1- The band had been practicing their new songs all night, and after the drummer accidentally fell asleep mid-song, they decided to call it a day and head to the nearest pizza place.
2- After hours of debate in Parliament, the politicians decided to call it a day and resume discussions the next morning.
